Liverpool, Brighton and Tottenham are the only perfect teams so far with two matches remaining in Matchday 2 of the new English Premier League season.

Liverpool easily handled Burnley 2-0, while Brighton dispatched Watford by an identical scoreline. Tottenham had the toughest test, but still came away with a 1-0 win at Wolves. One of West Ham or Leicester City can also go to a maximum six points when they meet in a battle of Matchday 1 winners.

Norwich City was just what the doctor ordered for Manchester City, which got back to winning ways (5-0) after a shutout loss at Tottenham last weekend. Their neighbor Manchester United was surprisingly held by Southampton, forced to come from behind for the 1-1 draw.

The other draws of the weekend took place between LeedsEverton (2-2) and Crystal PalaceBrentford (0-0). Everton twice had the lead on the road, only to concede an equalizer shortly after.

The big match of the weekend will be Sunday’s London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea at Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta’s seat is getting hotter after Arsenal’s dispiriting opening-day loss at Brentford, while European champion Chelsea is riding high on the heels of a European Super Cup triumph and a 3-0 blanking of Crystal Palace. Many Chelsea fans will be eager to see Romelu Lukaku makes his first start since returning to the club.
