Haley Meijer is the sister of Republican US House Representative Peter Meijer in Michigan. Even she is dissatisfied with his actions in DC, so she is supporting his primary challenger Tom Norton. In fact, Haley Meijer wants her brother out of DC so much she is a “top fan” of Norton’s, according to Norton’s campaign Facebook page.
“Thank you for fighting for our freedoms, and defending our constitution,” Haley Meijer wrote in response to Norton’s video about challenging her brother.

Rep. Meijer is facing blowback in Republican circles due to his vote to impeach President Donald J. Trump, so he is one of the 10 Republicans targeted to be primaried in 2022. Meijer ran as a supporter of Trump’s, so the betrayal to Trump supporters was shocking.
In fact, Norton, Michigan Conservative Union President, was the first to jump in when he immediately reacted after the impeachment vote and called for all 1o Republicans who voted for impeach to be primaried.

MEIJER DOESN’T SEEM TO LIKE REPUBLICANS
As if the Impeachment votes weren’t bad enough, further conflict Rep. Meijer has with voters is he is also one of the 35 Republicans who betrayed Republicans this week when he voted in partnership with the Democrats to support far-left Nancy Pelosi, who wants to investigate Trump supporters for the events around Jan. 6th at the US Capitol.
I contacted Norton for his feelings about the left’s recent move to investigate Republicans further, and he said, “If we are going to investigate one group, then we need to investigate all groups who participated in riots, that is only common sense.”
The senate should amend the commission to include investigating BLM and Antifa for the destruction and deaths of last summer. Then send it back to the house.

Peter Meijer, a Republican, is celebrated by the furthest left media for his anti-Republican actions during his short time in DC. He is known as one of ten who voted to impeach President Trump over the events of January 6th, and now Meijer is an elite of the left.

So it is noteworthy that his own sister would take issue with his political stand enough to want him out of Washington DC. That is a compelling testimony about the lack of enthusiasm people have over Meijer. That may be why his sister, Haley Meijer, is a “Top Fan” of Norton’s.
