Hot Wheels Unleashed reveals DLC plans including Batman, Street Fighter, TMNT and more

Mattel and Milestone have revealed the DLC plans for upcoming toy racer Hot Wheels Unleashed, welcoming a whole host of famous pop culture icons.

There’ll be both free and premium DLC up for grabs, including vehicles, track builder parts, customisation options and expansion sets. There’ll be seasonal content and a wealth of cosmetics and rewards that can only be earned in limited time challenges too.

These packs will cover a whole host of pop culture nods, as well as car brands. So far those named include DC, Masters of the Universe, Street Fighter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Barbie and more. On the car side, we have Aston Martin, BMW, McLaren and “many others” are also promised.

The main course of additional content will be available separately or bundled up in three Hot Wheels Pass content packs. Each volume will contain 9/10 vehicles, 1 expansion, 3 themed customisation Packs and 3 Track Builder modules. The first of these will be available when the game launches later this month.

Hot Wheels Pass Vol 1 will include ten vehicles including Barbie, DC, Street Fighter and TMNT. There’s also set to be a Batman expansion, with more details to be announced a later date. You can check out the full Hot Wheels Unleashed DLC plan below and read more on the game’s official website.

Hot Wheels Unleashed lands on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 30.
