14 Inches Of 1440p, No Adaptive Sync Unless You Go 1080p Though

Looking for a powerful gaming laptop and hoping to find a Ryzen powered one?  ASUS has your back with the new Zephyrus G14 family, with a choice of a Ryzen 9 4900HS or a Ryzen 7 4800HS in two different main models, one with a GTX 1660Ti and a slightly more expensive version with an RTX 2060.  Whichever base model you choose you can opt for a 60Hz 1440p or 1080p or a 120Hz 1080p panel.1

Regardless which you want, you can order up to 24GB of DDR4-3200, either a 1TB or 512GB NVMe drive as well as all the features you would expect on a modern laptop except for one glaring omission, there is no webcam.  Tweaktown’s review model features the 4900HS and RTX 2060 displaying on a matte 1440p Pantone validated display with 100% sRGB coverage.  It also features ASUS’ AniME Matrix array, to allow you to display animated text or simple graphics on the top of the laptop’s lid.

Tweaktown were concerned about the thermal capabilities of the design and how effectively it would manage to ensure your Ryzen processor was able to run at peak frequency, especially considering how light the Zephyrus is.  Those fears were misplaced, as the review will show those interested enough to click on over.
