While it might feel like it’s a tedious recipe to try at home, trust us, it is not, all you need to have is some patience and simple ingredients at home and your crispy and colourful homemade Jalebis will be ready. In this video, you will get to learn how to make Jalebi at home. To make jalebi you need refined flour, gram flour, curd, desi ghee, lime juice, water, turmeric powder, saffron powder, granulated sugar, saffron strands, and oil. To make this easy Indian sweet, first of all take a mixing bowl, and add refined flour, gram flour, yogurt, ghee, lime juice, and water and mix well. Make sure that the batter is of running consistency. Now, add turmeric powder and saffron powder, mix well and allow it to ferment for 24 hours. Next, pour the batter into the squeeze bottle and make Jalebis in a wok full of hot oil/ghee. In the meantime, for sugar syrup, take another pan and add granulated sugar and water and on low heat stir until the sugar melts. Once the sugar melts raise the heat and keep it for 4-5 minutes and add saffron stands also add saffron powder. Mix well and soak deep fried Jalebis into it. Serve immediately!
