To make this simple and easy curry recipe, you need yellow moong dal, asafoetida, salt, red chilli powder, oil, potatoes, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger, green chilli, tomato, tomato puree, red chilli powder, green peas, garam masala, salt, water, and coriander leaves. To make this easy lunch recipe first you need to make moong dal badi, for which you need to soak the dal and the grind it to a coarse paste along with red chilli powder, salt, and asafoetida. Then pour this paste in shape of badi on a greased surface and allow it to dry under the sunlight and your homemade badi is ready. Now, to make curry recipe with these badi, take a pan, add mustard oil, cumin seeds, ginger, green chilli, tomato, tomato puree and then cook them altogether. Now, add potato, turmeric powder, chilli powder, green peas and cook it on a slow flame for 5-7 minutes. Next, add badia, salt, garam masala and water and cook for another 10 minutes.
