Playground Games has offered another peek under the hood of the upcoming Forza Horizon 5, this time focusing on the biomes & environments you’ll be racing around in the game’s depiction of Mexico.

As per the Xbox Wire, creative director Mike Brown spoke on the game’s map, said to be one-and-a-half times bigger than Forza Horizon 4‘s. “We knew from the beginning that we wanted this to be the biggest Forza Horizon yet,” he said. “However, if we wanted to be the biggest, then we felt we also needed to offer the most diversity and contrast as well.”

To that end, Forza Horizon’s 5 Mexico will be split up into 11 distinct biomes, each with their own distinct look, feel and weather. Using techniques such as photogrammetry, each biome has been meticulously researched before being created by the studio. In addition, each of the biomes will transition through seasons differently, meaning you should have a wildly different weather effects such as tropical storms and sandstorms in each.

These biomes include the Canyon, Tropical Coast, Farmland, Arid Hills, Jungle, Living Desert, Rocky Coast, Sand Desert, Swamp, the Urban City of Guanajuato and even a Volcano. Each of these biomes will include unique features such as cactus deserts, hoodoos and even snow on the high-altitude slopes of that volcano we mentioned.

Along with that information, the studio also released the latest episode of their Forza Horizon 5: Let’s ¡Go! video series. This time around, the studio showed off three of the new Forza Horizon 5 biomes followed by new gameplay footage of a full Emerald Circuit Race from the game. You can check out that full episode down below.

Forza Horizon 5 is currently scheduled for release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on November 9.
