Manly’s Tom Trobjevic and Jason Saab both had hat-tricks in a scintillating performance at Bankwest Stadium, as the the Sea Eagles scored their biggest ever win, 66-0, against the Bulldogs.
Reuben Garrick had a total of 30 points, with two tries of his own, including a ‘HOWZAT!’ celebration, helping to raise money for Men of League and Mose Masoe.
“A bit of Warney there, Shane Keith Warne. It’s all going to a good cause for Mose. He needs it,” Garrick said.
“Some of the boys here, have been playing unreal footy like Turbo, DEC, Saab,” he told Fox Sports.
“I’m just happy to be one of the beneficiaries.”

But Trbojevic was the standout as the form player of the competition, involved in almost every try-scoring play.
“We were able to pick them apart on the edges. Really enjoying my footy at the moment,” Trbojevic said post-game on Fox Sports.
The Bulldogs were without five of their more experienced players in Dylan Napa, Brandon Wakeham, Aaron Schoupp, Corey Waddell and Sione Katoa after their COVID breach, and forced coach Trent Barrett to blood three young debutants.
Even so, the Bulldogs’ defence was porous and described as “soft” as Manly ran riot.
The Sea Eagles now have three players with double figures in season tries scored, the only club in the NRL to achieve that feat.
